Article 2 (Method of Collecting Personal Information)

The Foundation may ask for personal information such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, and email address when a user registers for use.

Article 3 (Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information)

The Foundation collects and uses personal information for the following purposes:

1. To provide and operate the Services.
2. To respond to inquiries from users (including identity verification).
3. To send emails providing information on Services offered by the Foundation.
4. To contact users as necessary for maintenance, important notices, etc.
5. To identify and refuse access to users who violate the terms of use or who attempt to use the Services for fraudulent or improper purposes.
6. To allow users to view, change, or delete their own registration information, and to view their usage status.
7. To bill users for usage fees in paid Services.
8. Any other purposes incidental to the above.

Article 4 (Change of Purpose of Use)

Article 5 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

1. The Foundation will not provide personal information to a third party without the user's prior consent, except in the following cases or as permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other relevant laws and regulations:
   1. When it is necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual.
   2. When it is particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual.
   3. When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by either in executing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the individual may impede the execution of such affairs.
   4. When the following items have been announced in advance and the Foundation has notified the Personal Information Protection Commission.

      4. The cessation of the provision of personal information to a third party at the request of the individual;
      5. The method for accepting requests from the individual.
2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the recipient of such information shall not be considered a third party in the following cases:
   1. Where the Foundation entrusts the handling of personal information, in whole or in part, to a third party within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use.
   2. Where personal information is provided in connection with the succession of business operations due to a merger or other reasons.
   3. Where personal information is used jointly with a specific person, provided that the individual has been notified in advance of the details.

Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

1. When an individual requests disclosure of their personal information, the Foundation will disclose it to them without delay. However, if disclosure would result in any of the following, the Foundation may not disclose all or part of the information, and if it decides not to disclose the information, the Foundation will notify the individual without delay.
   1. When there is a risk of harming the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party
   2. When there is a risk of causing significant disruption to the proper implementation of the Foundation's activities.
   3. If it would violate other laws and regulations.
2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, in principle, the Foundation will not disclose information other than personal information, such as historical information and characteristic information.

Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

1. If the personal information held by the Foundation is incorrect, the user may request the Foundation to correct, add, or delete the personal information (hereinafter referred to as "correction, etc.") in accordance with the procedures established by the Foundation.
2. If the Foundation receives a request from a user as described in the preceding paragraph and determines that it is necessary to comply with the request, it will correct the personal information without delay.
3. If the Foundation makes any corrections, etc. pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, or if it decides not to make any corrections, etc., it will notify the user without delay.

Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.)

1. If an individual requests that the Foundation suspend or delete the use of their personal information (hereinafter referred to as "suspension of use, etc.") on the grounds that their personal information is being handled beyond the scope of the intended purpose of use or has been obtained by wrongful means, the Foundation will conduct the necessary investigation without delay.
2. If the Foundation determines that it is necessary to comply with the request based on the results of the investigation in the preceding paragraph, the Foundation will suspend the use of the personal information without delay.
3. If the Foundation suspends use, etc. pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, or if it decides not to, it will notify the user without delay.
4. Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, if suspension of use, etc. would involve a large amount of expenses or is otherwise difficult to implement, and alternative measures necessary to protect the rights and interests of the user can be taken, such alternative measures will be taken.

Article 9 (Changes to the Privacy Policy)

1. The contents of this policy may be changed without notifying users, except for matters otherwise specified by law or other provisions within this policy.
2. Unless otherwise specified by the Foundation, the revised Privacy Policy will take effect from the time it is posted on this website.
