増進や人材育成などの活動、研究を行う方々への
助成を通じて、世界中の人たちが天気の変化を
読み取り、誰もが気象による災害から
身を守ることが出来るようになることです。
Our foundation provides grants aimed at developing meteorological infrastructure, advancing forecasting technologies, and fostering human resources in weather observation and prediction across the Asia-Pacific region.
Our foundation will lead a program to train meteorological engineers in the Asia-Pacific region and hold a satellite data acquisition contest.
The Weather & Climate Forecast Conference (WCFC) is an international platform established to embody the
founding principle of the WNI WxBunka
Foundation: "Enhancing weather infrastructure and advancing
forecasting technologies in the Asia-Pacific region."
SHIRASE5002は日本で三代目の南極観測船です。
現在は現役を引退し、2010年5月より千葉県船橋市に係留し、
当財団の事業目的を達成する為の活動拠点として利活用しております。
気象を楽しみながら知ることから始めていき、
自ら変化を読み取り行動に移し替えていくこと。
それが気象文化の創造です。
